This Privacy Policy is closely related to the products and/or services you use. When you download, install, launch, browse, register, log in, or use our products and/or services (hereinafter collectively referred to as "using our products and/or services"), we will process and protect your personal information in accordance with this Policy. We strive to explain technical terms involved in this Policy in concise language for your better understanding. Terms that (may) significantly affect your rights and interests have been bolded for your special attention.

Please read and fully understand this Policy carefully before using or continuing to use our products and services, and make appropriate choices in accordance with the guidance of this Policy when necessary. If you do not agree with the content of this Policy, it may cause our products and/or services to fail to operate normally or achieve the intended service effects, and you should immediately stop accessing/using our products and/or services. KaKa Chinese supports registration and login via email address and third-party accounts. If you choose to register or log in via email, you need to provide us with your [Email Address] so that we can send you verification codes. We collect this information to identify and verify your identity.
When you choose to log in using third-party accounts such as Google, Facebook, Apple ID, or WeChat, you agree to allow us to obtain your authorized shared information (including mobile phone number, nickname, avatar, friends list, etc.) from these third parties, and you agree to bind your third-party account with your KaKa Chinese account. This enables you to directly log in and use KaKa Chinese products and sync data across different devices. We will use your authorized personal information in accordance with agreements with third parties and compliant with applicable laws and regulations. If you refuse to allow KaKa Chinese to obtain such authorized information from third parties, you will not be able to register and log in via third-party accounts or sync data through them.
Additionally, to provide a better experience, you will need to fill out a [Survey Questionnaire] upon entering the App, which includes information such as [Nationality], [Target Exam Level], and [Scheduled Exam Date].
After completing registration, you may voluntarily fill in or change your avatar, name, gender, age, and exam date to enrich your profile. Refusing to provide this information will not affect your use of the basic features of this product and related services.
The above information you provide will be used by us during your use of our services. Upon active account cancellation, we will delete your personal information as soon as possible in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Core features of this product include Vocabulary, Grammar, and Spoken Language Learning, Specific Module Training, Real Mock Exams, Exam Mode, Sprint Courses, Personal Center, etc.
We collect and use your information for the following purposes based on principles of legality, fairness, and necessity:
2.1 Device Information: Based on specific permissions you grant during installation and use, we receive and record device-related information, including: IP address, device name, device model, hardware serial number, unique device identifiers, operating system and application version, language settings, RAM, mobile network info, network access method, and network quality data. This info is used for identity verification, security defense, archiving, and customer security services to enhance product and service safety.
2.2 Log Information: When you use our features, the system automatically collects certain information via cookies or other means as network logs. This includes detailed usage details (page URLs visited, browser type and settings, telecom operator, language used, access date/time, device crashes, system activity, page history, and event statistics). This helps us analyze user security behavior.
2.3 System Permissions Requested: To provide services, we request certain system permissions. You can turn off any of these permissions in system settings, after which we cannot collect corresponding personal information.

Can be disabled: Yes (disabling prevents real-time data loading and normal app usage).

Scenario: Reading photos when submitting feedback; recording log info and caching data.
Can be disabled: Yes (disabling only affects corresponding feature usage).
We use your information for identity verification, security defense, archiving, and customer security services. In case of system failures, we log and analyze failure data to optimize services.
Certain supplementary features require Software Development Kits (SDKs) provided by third-party service providers. Third-party SDKs obtain permissions and info necessary to deliver services:
Provider: Shanghai Zhangzhitao Information Technology Co., Ltd.
Purpose: Social sharing, third-party login.
Scenario: Enabling social sharing features in the App.
Shared Information: System runtime info, network status, iOS Advertising Identifier (IDFA), IMEI, OAID, IMSI, app list, base station info, social platform OpenID, location data.
Collection Method: Direct collection by SDK.

Purpose: Collecting App crash and error logs.
Scenario: When crashes or errors occur inside the App.
Shared Information: IP address, device type, unique device identifiers, browser type, operating system, software installed on device, product key, general location data (inferred from IP), referral URLs.
Collection Method: Direct collection by SDK.

Purpose: Used for user login, app usage analytics, and improving product experience.
Scenario: During in-app login, registration, app launch, and purchase.
Shared Information: Information we collect includes your operation events such as launch, registration, login, and purchase.

Purpose: Provides payment and settlement services for in-app products and subscriptions, as well as delivering system notifications and message alerts to user devices.
Scenario: When users make in-app purchases/subscriptions, or when the app needs to send push notifications to users.
Shared Information: Order information, purchase tokens, device identifiers (such as FCM Token), device model, operating system version, and network status information.

Third-party SDK providers abide by their own privacy policies. We review their qualification and require legal compliance, but we strongly advise you to review their privacy terms. Under applicable laws, regulations, and national standards, we may collect and use your personal information without consent in the following situations:
（1）Directly related to national security or national defense security;
（2）Directly related to public safety, public health, or major public interests;
（3）Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and judgment execution;
（4）For protecting major legitimate rights and interests (life, property) of you or others when difficult to obtain consent;
（5）Personal information disclosed to the public by yourself;
（6）Personal information collected from legally public disclosures (news reports, government releases);
（7）Necessary for signing and performing contracts per your request;
（8）Necessary for maintaining safe and stable operation of services (e.g., discovering/handling software faults);
（9）Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.
If we use information for purposes not specified in this Policy, or use info collected for a specific purpose for other purposes, we will seek your consent in advance.
We will not share your personal information with outside companies, organizations, or individuals, except in the following cases:
（1）With your explicit prior consent or authorization;
（2）Pursuant to applicable laws, legal procedures, or mandatory administrative/judicial requirements;
（3）Sharing with Authorized Partners: Services may be co-provided with partners to improve customer experience. We share personal info solely for legitimate, necessary, and specific purposes. Partners cannot use shared data for other purposes.
We will not transfer your personal information to any third party except:
Transfer with explicit consent;
In cases of acquisition, merger, or restructuring involving entity changes, requiring new data controllers to remain bound by this Policy or re-seek authorization.
We will publicly disclose your personal information only under:
Explicit consent for specified information;
Mandatory disclosure required by law, legal process, litigation, or government authorities.
Location: Personal information collected within the PRC is stored on servers inside Mainland China, except as explicitly required by law, authorized by you, or performed through cross-border transactions initiated by you.
Period: Retained for the minimum duration necessary to fulfill purpose requirements. Account-related PII is retained until account cancellation, unless longer retention is required or permitted by law.
Industry-standard protections: encryption technology (TLS/HTTPS), encrypted transmission, strict access controls, and non-disclosure agreements with personnel.
Measures taken to ensure no irrelevant personal information is collected.
Note: Internet environments are not 100% secure. Avoid sending sensitive info via unencrypted channels. Use complex passwords.
In the event of a security incident, we will promptly inform you of the incident status, remedial actions, and risk mitigation advice via email, phone, or push notifications, and report to regulatory authorities as required.
You can exercise your rights over your personal information as follows:
Access: Go to App -> Tap [Personal Center] icon (top-left) -> Tap [Avatar] to view profile.
Modify: Go to App -> [Personal Center] -> Tap [Avatar] to edit information.
Delete: Email service@tikajiaoyu.com to request data deletion.
Withdraw Consent: Change permissions via device settings or software privacy settings. Withdrawing consent will not affect data processing conducted prior to withdrawal.
Responding to Requests: We will respond within 15 days. Identity verification may be required before processing requests. Reasonable requests are generally free of charge.
You can cancel your account in-app: [Personal Center -> Settings -> Account Management -> Delete Account]. We will process requests within 48 hours after identity verification. Upon cancellation, your personal info will be removed, except as required to be retained by law (e.g., transaction records).
We attach great importance to protecting minors' personal information. Minors should read this Privacy Policy accompanied by parents/guardians and use services or submit info only with parental/guardian consent. If we discover personal information collected from minors without prior verifiable parental consent, we will delete the data as quickly as possible. Guardians with questions should contact us via the contact info in Section VIII.
We may update this Policy to reflect product updates and regulatory changes. We will notify you of updates via App push notifications or reasonable methods. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

Disputes arising from this Policy or personal information processing shall be submitted to the court of competent jurisdiction where Hangzhou Tika Education Technology Co., Ltd. is located.
