1.1 In KaKa Chinese, "PLUS" refers to the VIP Membership service. If you join or renew PLUS, you are deemed to agree to activate or renew the membership service.
1.2 These Rules apply to the Automatic Renewal Service (hereinafter referred to as "this Service") provided by Hangzhou Tika Education Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tika Education") for members who have joined KaKa Chinese PLUS (hereinafter referred to as "Members"). These Rules serve as a supplementary agreement to the User Service Agreement. In the event of any conflict between these Rules and the User Service Agreement, these Rules shall prevail. Members should thoroughly read and fully understand the rights and obligations between KaKa Chinese and Members regarding this Service set forth in the User Service Agreement and these Rules prior to activating, subscribing to, or using this Service. Selecting this Service implies that the Member enjoys the rights specified herein and agrees to be bound by all terms of these Rules. Any legal disputes arising between KaKa Chinese and Members shall be resolved in accordance with the relevant provisions of these Rules.
2.1 Subscription Period: This Service is launched to facilitate Members' continuous use of KaKa Chinese. Subscription periods include, but are not limited to, 1 month, 1 year, etc., which can be selected by Members independently.
2.2 Upon activating this Service, KaKa Chinese will automatically deduct the fee from the Member's account 24 hours prior to the expiration of the current billing period and extend the corresponding membership validity period. That is, the Member authorizes KaKa Chinese to deduct the membership fee for the next subscription period from the payment account linked by the Member (including but not limited to linked third-party payment accounts, bank cards, communication accounts, iTunes accounts, etc.) when the current subscription is about to expire. The realization of this Service relies on successful deductions from the Member's designated account; the Member shall bear all responsibility for any renewal failure caused by insufficient balance in the account. If you activate the Automatic Renewal Service through special promotions, the actual deduction time may differ from the aforementioned timeframe, which will be indicated on the campaign page for your attention.
2.3 When using this Service, Members should review and agree to all terms of this Service and various public notices issued by KaKa Chinese regarding this Service before use.
2.4 This Service provided by KaKa Chinese is strictly limited to Members' use within the KaKa Chinese platform. Any violation of KaKa Chinese's Automatic Renewal Service Rules, User Service Agreement, or any behavior that bypasses renewal to access KaKa Chinese paid content through malicious cracking or other means constitutes a breach of these Rules. Upon discovery, KaKa Chinese reserves the right to immediately terminate the membership service and this Service without prior consent. All legal consequences arising therefrom shall be borne by the perpetrator, and KaKa Chinese will pursue legal liabilities in accordance with the law.
3.1 KaKa Chinese is responsible for providing Members with methods to query specific details regarding this Service.
3.2 After a Member activates this Service, KaKa Chinese has the right to deduct the membership service fee for the next subscription period from the Member's aforementioned account and extend the product service validity period accordingly. For example, if you purchase a 1-year KaKa Chinese subscription on January 1 and decide to cancel the subscription on July 1, you can still enjoy all of our membership content and services until December 31, and the system will not charge you the annual subscription fee again the following January.
3.3 In the event of an error during the deduction process, KaKa Chinese and the Member shall closely cooperate to ascertain the cause and bear their respective losses caused by their own faults. If the loss is caused by unequal faults of both parties, each party shall bear corresponding liability according to the degree of fault; if both parties are jointly responsible, the liability shall be shared equally.
3.4 KaKa Chinese may change or modify the relevant service contents, rules, and terms of these Rules based on business operations or technical upgrades. Before making such changes or modifications, KaKa Chinese will selectively announce the modified content on relevant KaKa Chinese pages depending on the situation, but is under no obligation to issue individual notifications. If a Member disagrees with the amendments to these Rules, they may cancel the acquired service and cease using it; if a Member continues to use the services provided by KaKa Chinese, it shall be deemed that the Member has accepted all amendments to these Rules.
3.5 Members may choose whether to cancel this Service through the KaKa Chinese platform. If a Member fails to cancel the automatic renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, it shall be deemed that the Member agrees to let KaKa Chinese attempt the payment deduction. Once the deduction is successful, it will non-refundable, and the automatic renewal service for the next subscription period will be activated. Please note that there may be a display delay in updating the automatic renewal status; the actual contracted status of KaKa Chinese PLUS automatic renewal shall prevail.
3.6 Cancellation Methods: You can suspend or terminate this Service through the following methods:
3.6.1 Apple In-App Purchase (IAP) Users:
(1) Open iOS "Settings".
(2) Enter "iTunes Store & App Store".
(3) Tap "Apple ID", select "View Apple ID", enter the "Account Settings" page, tap "Subscriptions", select KaKa Chinese VIP, and cancel the subscription.
3.6.2 Google Pay Users:
(1) On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store.
(2) Check if you are logged into the correct Google Account.
(3) Tap Menu -> "Subscriptions".
(4) Select the subscription you want to cancel.
(5) Tap "Cancel subscription".
(6) Follow the instructions.
(If the app you subscribed to is removed from Google Play, your future subscriptions will be automatically canceled. Previous subscriptions will not be refunded. For other payment channels, please follow the designated cancellation procedures of the respective payment platforms.)
3.6.3 Alipay Users:
(1) Open Alipay and tap "Me".
(2) Tap "Settings" to enter the settings page.
(3) Tap "Payment Settings".
(4) Tap "Password-free Payment / Auto-deduction".
(5) Select "KaKa Chinese PLUS" to enter the service detail page.
(6) Tap "Close Service" to complete the cancellation.
3.6.4 WeChat Pay Users:
(1) Open WeChat and tap "Me".
(2) Tap "Services".
(3) Tap "Wallet".
(4) Tap "Payment Settings".
(5) Tap "Auto-Renewal".
(6) Select "KaKa Chinese PLUS" to enter the project details.
(7) Tap "Close Service" to complete the cancellation.
3.7 If the price of KaKa Chinese membership service is adjusted before the automatic renewal deduction date, KaKa Chinese will announce the modified content on relevant pages prior to the deduction and deduct fees according to the currently effective price.
3.8 KaKa Chinese reserves the right to decide whether to charge for this Service itself or adjust the automatic renewal period and fees based on business needs or market changes, and will selectively notify Members on relevant pages.
4.1 These Rules take effect after the Member chooses to accept or use this Service and remain effective until the Member terminates this Service or cancels their membership. Upon termination of this Service, KaKa Chinese will cease providing this Service to the Member.
4.2 Instructions for automatic renewal deductions entrusted by the Member to KaKa Chinese prior to choosing to terminate this Service remain valid, and KaKa Chinese will not refund any fees deducted based on such instructions.
If either party breaches the agreement, the non-breaching party has the right to seek compensation through the dispute resolution method agreed upon by both parties.
Disputes arising from the performance of these Rules shall be resolved by KaKa Chinese and the Member through friendly negotiations. If negotiations fail, either party has the right to file a lawsuit with the court of competent jurisdiction where Hangzhou Tika Education Technology Co., Ltd. is located. The interpretation, validity, and execution of these Rules shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
